Independence Day celebrations (15.8.14)
Maharaja Agrasen Model School, CD - Block, Pitampura , Delhi paid tribute to the freedom fighters and remembered their inexorable and rhapsodic efforts to win back the country's freedom on the occasion of the Independence Day Celebrations. The resplendent event commemorated with the hoisting of the tri colour by the revered Members of the School Management Shri Satish Gupta , President,Shri Hari Om Goyal , Chairman and Shri S.C.Mangla- Manager followed by a rendition of the National Anthem. The dignitaries were warmly welcomed by the Head Boy Arshdeep Singh and the Head Girl Sonal Jain .The spell binding and enthralling cultural bonanza by the burgeoning Mamsians showcased their talent and left the audience mesmerized.The thespians of the school brought alive the glory and valour of Maharana Pratap through a play . The little masters of class IV showed their skills acquired in Taekwondo. The fusion of the patriotic songs and dances by the students of Pre Primary to VIII lent an aura to the auspicious occasion. The Manager of the school Shri S.C.Mangla addressed the audience and urged the cygnets to remember the hardships faced by the compatriots before freedom and to remember the saga of the sung and unsung heroes. He also inspired the young ones to serve their motherland with utmost sincerity and perseverance .The Principal Ms. Pratibha Kohli extended her warm wishes on the occasion of Independence Day and paid homage to the freedom fighters. She also propounded upon the students to fulfil their duties towards the nation in keeping their motherland green and clean. The honorable members of the management applauded the meritorious students for their brilliant performance in various fields.

Janmashtami
On 16th August 2014 Maharaja Agrasen Model School celebrated the holy birth of Shri Krishna –JANMASHTMI. Assembly was started seeking blessings of god creating an atmosphere of . Students of class VI-VIII were the main attraction of assembly as there was a Interhouse Skit Competition by students of different houses on leela’s of Shri Krishna in his childhood which were immensely pure and each one was mesmerized in the skit. Each one was congratulated by worthy principal ma'am.

INTRA SCHOOL-Expressions, Face Painting Competition
An inspiring and innovative face painting competition was organized by Ms Neha Sanan and Ms. Mathur.
Students from classes 9 and 10 participated in this competition. A team of two students completed this competition in one hour where students painted faces of fellow students of their teams depicting our national flag, symbols and pictures related to our country. This competition highlighted the creative skills of students. The students too participated with great enthusiasm and some of them brought many innovative ideas related to the theme, making it a joyful experience rather than a competing one. Ist position was won by Charika kohli and Kanika Bindal of class IX-D, IInd position was bagged by Natasha Kothari and Vishi Aggrawal of class X-A while Nida Khaldy and Shivangi Bhatia of class X-B occupied the third position. The winners were felicitated with achievement certificates and other participants were given participation certificates.

Rakshabandhan
Rakshabandhan was celebrated on Friday, August 08, 2014 in Seminar Hall by Pre Primary Department .Dance performances were given by children of Pre Primary Daffodil and Pre- School Lotus. A beautiful rhyme was also presented by the children of Pre School Lotus. The tiny MAMSIANS did the compering themselves. The participants gave the message of love and affection between brothers & sisters.
Dussehra
The
Pre- Primary-Bunnies presented a performance on the occasion of Dussehra on
September 26, 2014 in the Seminar hall. They presented musical modern Ramleela.
They dressed-up in the costume of their respective characters.
Gandhi Jayanti

–School(Tulip) showcased a class performance on Gandhi Jayanti on September 26,2014.
The children prepared a dance performance and paid tribute to Gandhi ji. They
all sang “ Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram the famous and favourite song of ‘Bapu’ showing their love for father of nation. They
all performed confidently and enthusiastically .
